Click It or Ticket
Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said today that the New London Police Department's 14-day participation in the Click It or Ticket seat belt law enforcement campaign resulted in 185 citations for traffic violations, 64 seat belt tickets, and 4 child restraint citations.
“The annual Click it or Ticket mobilization may be over in New London, but that is no excuse to stop using your seat belt,” said Reichard. “Our law enforcement officers are out all year long. If you or your passengers are caught not wearing a seat belt at any time, day or night, you will be cited for the safety violation.”
