New London Teen Attacks Ex-Girlfriend, Police Allege
An 18-year-old man was arrested on charges including sexual assault and unlawful restraint.

Norwich Police arrested an 18-year-old New London resident after an alleged altercation took place on Feb. 1.
According to The Day, New London man Jonathan L. Morrison, 45 Redden Ave., allegedly harassed his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend via texts and Twitter after she broke up with him.
The victim alleges that Morrison encountered her in a parking lot after her school day was over, physically grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.

Morrison was charged with the following:
- Assault in the third degree
- Breach of peace
- Harassment in the second degree
- Sexual assault in the first degree
- Unlawful restraint in the first degree
The victim reported breaking up with Morisson after she found out about alleged domestic violences situations from his past.

He was held on $250,000 bond and issued a Feb. 10 court date, which was continued.
