The City of New London is hosting a free Dixieland jazz concert along its historic waterfront on Sunday, July 28.
Held at City Pier beginning at 3:00pm, the show will feature the U.S. Coast Guard Dixieland Jazz Band performing its signature southern-style music including "Down By The Riverside," "Georgia," and "Dipper Mouth".
This patriotic event will pay tribute to the city’s rich nautical heritage and storied military service, and honoring those men and women who are currently serving and all those who have served, according to a post on the Office of Mayor Finizio's Facebook page.
