New London Youth Football Crushes East Lyme

After losing to East Lyme by one point, which cost New London a chance at the Super Bowl, Saturday's game was sweet revenge.

Head coach Calvin Fort and his New London Junior Football team faced old rivals Saturday night when they played East Lyme. With a sour taste in their mouth from last year's loss, which saw them lose an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl by one point, New London started off strong but had four touchdowns called back due to penalties.

In the end, even the penalties couldn't slow New London down.

New London won handily, 28-0 and with a strong defense. East Lyme only had a few first downs. Coach Dave and Coach Leo's defense hasn't had a team score on them in three games.
