Joseph A. Wilson, Jr, 28 of New London, passed away on Sunday December 13, 2015.

He was born on September 2, 1987, in New London the son of Joseph A. and Doreen Tompkins Wilson.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Joseph I. Wilson of Norwich; a daughter, Gianna L. Wilson of New London; two sisters: Emily D. Wilson of Ocala, Fla., and Bridget D. Wilson of Groton.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 17, at the Byles- Groton Memorial Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday Dec. 18 at the Sacred Heart Church, 56 Sacred Heart Drive, Groton.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations in his memory be directed to the New London Homeless Hospitality Center, P.O. Box 1651, New London, Ct 06320.
