Pair Caused Commotion At New London Park, Interfered With Police: Cops
BREAKING: The woman allegedly struck and officer and actively resisted arrest, police say.

NEW LONDON, CT — Two people were arrested after a disturbance in the parking lot of a New London Park Saturday evening, police said.
Police received a call around 6:07 p.m. for a woman striking a young child across the face in the parking lot of Ocean Beach Park. An officer assigned to the park responded to the scene and was told that a woman who tried to intervene in the situation had been assaulted.
Police said the woman who tried to intervene was struck with a purse and then punched several times by the suspect, Ciara Subrian, 25, of East Hartford. When the officer approached Subrian, she allegedly struck him and then police say Subrian actively resisted arrest.
