Police: Drunk, Armed New London Man Peed On Police Car

Wednesday night, police allege a 29-year-old New London man got drunk, peed on a police car parked at the New London Police Department and then was later found lying underneath the police car.

According to New London Police, at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday a female officer coming to work saw Mark Bass, 29, of New London, with his genitals fully exposed, peeing on a police car parked at the New London Police Department. After she told the shift commander, two officers went outside and found Bass lying partially underneath the police vehicle, according to police.

Bass, of 31 Starr Street, was found carrying a loaded Glock .40-caliber pistol but had a valid pistol permit, according to police. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and carrying a loaded firearm while intoxicated.
