Police Seize 307 Grams of Heroin in New London Narcotics Operation
Five people were arrested and a motor vehicle seized in the narcotics enforcement operation.

On Feb. 24, members of the New London Department’s Vice and Intelligence Section and the Connecticut State Police Narcotics Task Force - Eastern Division were involved in a joint narcotics enforcement operation.
As a result of the joint operation, officers arrested five people and seized 307 grams of heroin, $2,153 of U.S. currency and a motor vehicle.

Clifton Barows, 39, of 202 Maple Ave., Uncasville

- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500-feet of a housing project
Robert Piscitello, 35, of 310 Maple Ave., Uncasville

Bobby Olivo, 45, and Iremly Alfonso, 36, both of 75 Ruben St., Fall River, Mass.

Jacob Pena, 24, of 48 Crystal Ave., Apt. 44, New London
- Possession of narcotics
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
- Possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500-feet of a housing project
- Operating a drug factory
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Interfering with a search warrant
