Police Seize Crack Cocaine, Smith and Wesson Revolver From New London Home
Four New London residents were arrested in a Friday, March 11, search and seizure operation on Griswold Court.
New London Police seized 13.7 grams of crack cocaine, a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver and $585 in U.S. currency from 7 Griswold Court, Apt. #2, in New London after a 4 a.m. search and seizure operation on Friday, March 11.
The warrant service resulted in the arrest of four men: Shaquan Seales, 21; Rakim Seales, 20; Khalil Hipps, 35; and Raekqwon Edwards, 21. All four were charged with the following:
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Cocaine With Intent to Sell
- Possession Of Cocaine With Intent to Sell, Within 1,500 Feet of School
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Operating a Drug Factory
Members of the New London Police Department's Vice and Intelligence Section and members of the of the CT State Police Emergency Services Unit and the CT State Police Narcotics Task Force-Eastern Division executed the warrant.
