It is not a new story. In fact, just last year in Connecticut, Newtown shooter Adam Lanza's body laid in the state morgue for days, waiting to be claimed.

In the case of accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, it is not a question of no one claiming the body. It is a case of no one wanting the body to be buried in their community.

A man who owns a funeral plot in Hamden created a firestorm earlier this week when he publicly offered his family plot to the family of Tamerlan Tsarnaev. More than 100 others people in the United States and Canada have offered burial plots for the body, reported the Christian Science Monitor. His body is being kept at a Worcester funeral home, which is beset by protestors outside. But officials in the cities and towns where the sites are located have said no.
