• Ethel Van Arx (primepublishers.com) — New Milford readers are remembering longtime Friendly’s employee and New Milford Senior Center member Ethel Van Arx, who passed away December 23 at age 84. She worked for years in the New Milford Friendly’s, was active in local senior life after moving to Gaylordsville, and supported area causes through her knitting and memorial donations requested for Animal Welfare Society on Dodd Road.
