Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Former North Branford Fire Chief William Seward III was recognized by the Town Council this week for his retirement from service to the town. "Chief Seward served with distinction as Fire Chief from January 18, 2005, until his retirement on December 31, 2021," Town Manager Michael Downes said. The Town Council and Downes presented Chief Sewaard with a plaque in thanks for his 16 years of dedicated service at the regular Council meeting held March 19.Congratulations, Chief Seward.
