North Branford Mom Is 'My Biggest Cheerleader,' Daughter Says

NORTH BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is without a doubt the best person I know. There has never been a time in my life when I couldn’t look to her as the most selfless, kind, giving and loving person. She is my best friend — the first person I call with good news and the first person I call when I have a bad day. She is my biggest cheerleader, my biggest supporter, and there has never been a time in my life when she hasn’t believed in me so much, that I believed in myself. She is a person who gives so much to everyone else but wants nothing in return — only quality time spent with her family!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She does so much for everyone else without a second thought and without question. She is the heart of our family! There aren’t words to properly express how special she is and there isn’t any award or recognition that could even come close to being enough — but hopefully, a feature in Patch will be a start!
