Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT - North Branford police made several arrests in the most recent reporting period. All those arrested are only charged at this time. The reporting period was June 11th through June 18th.Arrested were:Timothy D. Griffith, 42, of 53 Brushy Plain Road, Branford, charged June 11th with evading.Jeffrey L. Haversat, 50, of 89 Tulip Tree Drive, Guilford, charged June 12th with operating with registration/license suspended/revoked.Chelsea E. Ahearn, 27, of 43 Terrace Street, East Haven, charged June 14th with traveling unreasonably fast, operating under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane.Ian M. Wiggett, 38, of 15 Green Street, Stafford Springs, charged June 14th with misuse of plate, no insurance, operating with registration/license revoked/suspended, failure to obey stop sign.
