Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. NORTH BRANFORD, CT - North Branford police made two arrests during the most recent activity period. Both people are only charged at this time. Arrested were: Danny Melendez, 21, of 42 Strong Street Ext., East Haven, charged Sept. 4th with reckless driving, violation in a school zone. Kendal Lincoln Reed, 25, of 528 Fifth Ridge Road, Wallingford, charged Sept. 5th with reckless driving, operating under the influence.
