Obituary: Dolores D. Dillon, 85, of North Branford
Mail room supervisor for Miles/Bayer Pharmaceutical in West Haven for 25 years, she was a church volunteer and enjoyed trips with coworkers.
Dolores D. Dillon of North Branford, died peacefully on Thursday April 11, 2024 at Apple Rehab-Laurel Woods in East Haven. She was the wife of the late Carl Eugen Dillon (Gene’s Welding).
Dolores was born in Lynn, MA on June 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Michael and Irene D’Agnese. She is survived by her son Scott (Lori) Dillon, New Haven Fire Marshall, of North Branford, and grandchildren Trent Dillon of East Hampton and Frances Dillon of SC. She was predeceased by her son Michael Dillon and her sisters Janet Walberg and Barbara Ruscoe.

Dolores worked as the mail room supervisor for Miles/Bayer Pharmaceutical in West Haven for more than 25 years until retiring. She enjoyed taking trips with her Bayer Pharmaceutical friends to many places around the United States. Dee, or DD as many called her, will be remembered as a tough boss, but was selfless and always put her family first. She had been an active parishioner and volunteer at Our Lady of Victory and St. John Vianney churches.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial will follow at New St. Bridget Cemetery in Cheshire. There are no calling hours.
