Obituary: Ethel (Fowler) Nann, 94, longtime Northford resident

She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, reading and doing jigsaw puzzles with her daughters.

Friday, April 5, 2024 Ethel (Fowler) Nann, 94, longtime resident of Northford passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital following complications from a fall at her home.

Mrs. Nann was born in New Haven on January 6, 1930, daughter of the late Frederick Fowler and Edyth (Parke) Fowler. Wife of the late Edward F. Nann and loving mother of her daughters Patricia Nann (Duane Gray) of Guilford and Dorothy Grannis (late husband Donald) of Northford, and grandson, Justin Grannis of Burlington, MA. She is also survived by her sisters Jean Carlson and Muriel Tiedemann (Bud), brother Frank Fowler (Betsy), and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
