Obituary: Nicole Maria Ferrucci, 27, of North Branford
Charismatic and hard-working, she gave back via charity work, and before becoming ill, was a NYC Big Brothers & Big Sisters Project Manager.
Nicole Maria Ferrucci, 27, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after battling an illness which she fought courageously for two years. Nicole was a graduate of North Branford High School Class of 2014, and had a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Haven. Nicole was the loving daughter of Ronald and Christine Ferrucci of Northford.
Before her illness, Nicole worked for Big Brothers & Big Sisters in Manhattan as a Project Manager. Nicole was a very charismatic, goal-oriented girl who lit up a room when she walked in. She was a hard worker, an avid sports fan (especially the Buffalo Bills) and who always thought of others first. She loved watching the Food Network. Nicole loved her charity work and giving back to the community; she gave her spare time to North Branford Food Panty food drives, The Tommy Fund as an Adult Ambassador, and the Special Olympics. Nicole loved spending time with her family, especially her nephew Aiden who she adored.
