NORTH HAVEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in North Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
A Meriden resident won $50,000 on a $500,000 CASHWORD 2nd EDITION scratch ticket that was sold at Sam’s Food Store at 224 Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
