• 2 Charged In Gas Station Robbery In North Haven: PD (patch.com) — North Haven residents are learning more about a July knifepoint robbery at the Road Runner Gas Station on Hartford Turnpike, now that police have arrested two suspects. Working with Guilford and East Haven officers, investigators say they identified the alleged robber and the vehicle’s owner, leading to multiple felony charges tied directly to the North Haven holdup.
   

• This fifth-grader has a plan to ensure kids with disabilities are included at schools (baltimoresun.com) — A North Haven fifth-grader from Green Acres Elementary has been elected Connecticut’s 2026 Kid Governor on a platform of including students with disabilities. Her three-point plan promotes buddy systems, special lunch tables for kids feeling left out, and classroom videos that encourage acceptance, giving North Haven a leading role in a statewide civics and kindness effort.
