NORTH HAVEN, CT — A body was found in the Quinnipiac River on Sunday, police said. Earlier on Sunday, kayakers reported finding a body in the Quinnipiac River. Officers responded, and the Connecticut State Police Dive Team assisted with the recovery, police said. An investigation is now underway to determine the identity of the individual and the circumstances surrounding this incident, police said. No other details have been released.
