A 6-year-old boy is credited with helping to save his mother's life after an incident in North Haven, according to officials.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 6-year-old boy is credited with helping to save his mother’s life after she suffered a severe cut earlier this month in North Haven, according to officials.

The North Haven Fire Department responded around 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 to an emergency incident on Locke Drive for a patient “who had passed out after suffering an accidental severe hand laceration,” according to fire officials.

Officials said the incident was remarkable because the only person at home with the patient was her 6-year-old son, Jayden Stokes.
