Canned Dog, Cat Food Drive To Benefit North Haven Animal Control

The North Haven Animal Control is in need of wet canned dog and cat food, according to officials.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The North Haven Community Services Department will host a canned dog and cat food drive to benefit the North Haven Animal Control.

“North Haven Animal Control has been experiencing a shortage of wet canned dog and cat food and is looking for your help,” according to a news release.

Community Services will be collecting canned dog and cat food starting Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 23.

“Adult dog and cat wet food is needed; no dry food please,” officials wrote in the news release.

Residents can drop off donations at the Community Services office at 5 Linsley St. between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays.

“While wet food is strongly encouraged, monetary donations will gladfully be accepted as well,” the news release states.

Make checks payable to Treasurer, Town of North Haven, and indicate Food drive for Animal Control in the memo field. Checks can be mailed to the attention of North Haven Animal Control, Memorial Town Hall, 18 Church St., North Haven, CT 06473.
