NORTH HAVEN, CT — The COVID-19 test kit distribution that was scheduled to take place in North Haven on Sunday, Jan. 2, has been postponed, First Selectman Michael Freda announced Thursday.

“We have been notified by the state that they do not have the test kits to distribute to the 169 cities and towns across the state,” Freda wrote in a message to residents. “We will be cancelling this Sunday’s drive through. We will be rescheduling this drive through distribution at a later date. That date will be determined when we are certain that the state can provide the test kits to the cities and towns. I will be back in touch with our residents on when we will be able to reschedule.”
