Making Sense of Medicare: Connex Credit Union Hosts
Free Medicare 101 Workshop June 27 and July 18
Connex Credit Union, a North Haven-based credit union with branches
throughout greater New Haven, hosts a series of free financial education
workshops throughout the year.
The workshops are designed to help educate consumers on timeline
financial tips and how to set and achieve financial goals.
The next workshop is
entitled “Medicare 101: An Introduction to Medicare”. Phil Orlando, a
senior member benefits concierge with Connex, will lead the workshop.
This workshop will focus on understanding the basics
of Medicare, as well as understanding the available options and
different programs available.
The workshops will take place Thursday, June 27, 2013 and Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Connex’s North Haven branch. The branch is located at 412 Washington Avenue in North Haven. Anyone
interested in attending must call 1-800-CR-UNION (1-800-278-6466) to register. The workshop is open to members and non-members of the credit union.
Connex hosts various
workshops throughout the year that cover a wide range of topics,
including: financial literacy, financial planning, first-time homebuyers
and Medicare.
