North Haven To Distribute COVID-19 At-Home Rapid Test Kits
Officials announce plans to distribute COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits to residents.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The Town of North Haven has announced plans to distribute COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits to residents.

North Haven is one of five communities across the state hosting both a regional and local distribution, according to officials. The distribution will be held at North Haven High School at 221 Elm St.

“Part one will start on Thursday with the State sending North Haven a limited allocation for each city and town in our area,” officials wrote in a news release. “The National Guard will be in charge of distributing the town-by-town allocations for this region. This initiative will be completed by Thursday.”

Part two, the Town is expecting to receive 3,060 COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits from the state for distribution to North Haven residents in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19. This distribution by our CERT team to our residents will take place on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 at the North Haven High School, 221 Elm Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Test Kits are limited to North Haven residents 18+ only, license/proof of residency will be required and are limited to one box per household (no exceptions).
Please keep in mind that this statewide program is not designed to provide kits for all state and local residents. Each city and town were told very directly that we are only being allocated a small percentage of kits versus the overall population.
