Obituary: Annette E. (Parisi) Keating, 88, formerly of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Annette E. (Parisi) Keating, 88, of Cheshire, formerly of Wallingford and North Haven, passed away peacefully Friday, May 27, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Francis A. “Mickey” Keating.

She was born in Wallingford, March 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Frank and Sadie (Perino) Parisi.

Annette, lovingly known as “Nettie Belle” to family and friends, worked for Universal Distributors while she raised her two children.

If Annette was not spending time with her beloved family, and dogs, or finding the best bargain, she and Mickey could most often be spotted at Lido’s, Blackies Hot Dog, the casino, or riding together by the shore.

Annette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Bruce J. Katzman of Cheshire with whom she resided, and she was the proud “Noni” of Michaela F. Katzman (Christopher Flannigan) of West Hartford.

She is also survived by her aunt Blanche G. Lockert of Wallingford; her sisters-in-law, Sharon A. Keating of Meriden, and Gail P. Swarz of Glendale, Arizona, as well as several cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Francis Keating, her sisters Marie Perone, and Dorothy Fucci, and her uncle Thomas F. Lockert.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Thursday, June 2nd, from 9:30am to 11am when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am.
