Obituary: Anthony L. Mazzetta, 77, of North Haven

Anthony proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was the owner and operator of Redwood Furniture Refinishing.

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Anthony L. Mazzetta, 77, of North Haven, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Mary Jane Smittner Mazzetta.

Anthony was born in New Haven on October 21, 1943 and was the son of the late Fiore and Geda F. Morro Mazzetta.

He was so proud to have served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and always had a passion for military history.

Anthony was the owner and operator of Redwood Furniture Refinishing. His enjoyments were refinishing, restoring, and dealing antiques, deep sea fishing, bowling, and playing checkers.

Anthony’s family was his everything and he loved them all unconditionally, especially his grandson Anthony. Father of Jennifer Dahill.

Father-in-law of Brenden Dahill with whom he held a close bond. Grandfather of Anthony and Cole Ansaldo. Predeceased by his brother Richard Mazzetta.
