Kathryn “Kathy” Cosenza, 86, of North Haven passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025 at CT Hospice. Loving mother of Cindy Esposito of North Haven, with whom she resided, and Vincent Esposito Jr. of New Haven. Also survived by two grandchildren. Sister of Annette Talmadge of Killingworth and the late Al and Vincent Cosenza Jr. Kathy was born in New Haven on October 10, 1938 a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Trentini Cosenza Sr. Prior to her retirement in 2007, Kathy was employed in the Customer Service Department of the New Haven Register for 27 years. What brought Kathy joy was her generosity and kindness which made many who knew her smile. Kathy shared a special bond with her devoted daughter, Cindy. She will surely be missed by many.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven FRIDAY, September 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
