Ronald A. D’Andrea, 95, of North Haven, formerly of Hamden, beloved husband of the late Cosmina “Cosi” Simone D’Andrea, passed away on October 14, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home. Loving father of Dr. Ronald J. (Maura) D’Andrea and the late Jacqueline “Jackie” Heins.
Grandfather of Kimberly (Christopher) Olenoski, Kyle (Brittany) Heins, Kevin (Angela) and Brittani D’Andrea. Great grandfather of Mia, Marcella, Logan, Ryan, Paige, Dylan Jackie and Cayden. Father-in-law of Ronald Heins. Brother of Robert D’Andrea and the late James D’Andrea.

Ronald was born in New Haven on January 14, 1930 son of the late James and Tillie Navaretta D’Andrea.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven TUESDAY morning at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamden.
