CT DEEP and local agencies are working to contain several active fires across the state. Resources are limited and firefighters from across the state are working together to provide mutual aid as needed. On Sunday, several North Haven firefighters responded to the Lamentation Mountain Fire in Berlin to assist with suppression efforts.

Please monitor fire prone areas within North Haven such as Peter’s Rock, Hansen Park, Wharton Brook, Tidal Marsh Trail, Quinnipiac River State Park, and other such areas.

Let’s all work together during this critical time. Thank you for your cooperation.
