NORTH HAVEN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Patient Care Associate

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Abby is a full-time student at Quinnipiac University who completed her certified nurse assistant license last year. After classes were moved to an online format, Abby applied for a job at Yale, she wanted to help do her part during this crisis. Abby is now working and keeping up with her heavy course load as a biology major/psychology minor.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Abby is dedicated to making a difference in her patients' lives, she always takes the time to chat with them and keep a positive outlook. At home on days off she worries about her patients and looks forward to her return to work.
