NORTH HAVEN, CT — The 14-year-old girl reported missing from North Haven has been safely located, police said in an update on Wednesday morning. The teen, who was described by police as a runaway, was reported missing from North Haven at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30. "We extend our sincere thanks to the community for sharing our posts, providing tips, and remaining vigilant during this time," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "Your support made a difference. "We'd also like to recognize the dedicated efforts of our detectives and patrol officers, whose tireless work and quick action led to a safe resolution, quickly."
