The Montowese Baptist Church, 201 Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven, is holding their annual tag sale, bake sale and car wash. Join the fun beginning at 9am to 3pm to find deals on household items, toys, books and so much more. $1 a bag begins at 2pm.
Find a Friend for Life at the Pet Adoption event sponsored by the Friends of New Haven Animal Shelter and the North Shore Animal League. It takes place from 11am to 3pm at Pet Supplies Plus, 471 Boston Post Road in Orange.
There's a food drive to benefit the North Haven Food Bank at the Washington Avenue Stop & Shop from 10am to 2pm.
