1 Person In 'Serious Condition' After Shooting In Norwalk: Police
Police said one person is in "serious condition" after being shot several times in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — One person is in "serious condition" after being shot several times Tuesday night in Norwalk, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the department received multiple calls around 9:30 p.m. reporting several gunshots in the area of Strawberry Hill Avenue and Catalpa Street.
As officers arrived in the area and located a crime scene, they learned one person had arrived at Norwalk Hospital that night in serious condition with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Evarts.

Police detectives determined the incident was isolated and there was no ongoing threat to the community, Evarts said.
Evarts also noted detectives will be active in the area Wednesday as they continue to investigate the incident.
