The Tuesday afternoon crash occurred on North Taylor Avenue, according to authorities.

NORWALK, CT — Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a car smashed into a condominium at 18 North Taylor Ave. in Norwalk, according to fire officials.

The crash occurred at about 5 p.m., and firefighters and emergency medical personnel had to extricate the driver, and also find a victim who was buried inside the home.

"Members forced their way through debris and the damaged structure and located a disoriented victim who appeared to be in shock," wrote Deputy Fire Chief Jonathan Maggio in a statement. "Both victims were transported to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
