3 Norwalk Police Officers Receive Department Honor

The three were named November Officers of the Month.

NORWALK, CT — Three Norwalk police officers were named November Officers of the Month for their actions in apprehending an armed suspect in a stolen vehicle.

Officers Kaden Darrow, Kristen Curran, and Lam Nguyen successfully conducted a felony stop in a parking lot on Nov. 30, which led to the suspect's arrest.

"The suspect was taken into custody without incident, and officers recovered a firearm from the stolen vehicle," Norwalk police officials wrote on X.

According to Norwalk police, the suspect was wanted in Bridgeport in connection with a shooting.

"We commend Officers Darrow, Curran, and Nguyen for their teamwork, professionalism, and coordinated response, which led to the safe apprehension of a shooting suspect and the recovery of both a stolen vehicle and a firearm," officials said.
