NORWALK, CT — A three-car crash and vehicle fire briefly shut down a portion of the Merritt Parkway in Norwalk Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials.

In a news release, Deputy Chief Adam Markowitz said crews were called to the Merritt Parkway between exits 38 and 40 northbound after receiving a report of a three-car crash with a vehicle on fire.
