After DNA Test, Woman Charged with 2012 Norwalk Store Burglary
After DNA test results came back from the state crime lab, Norwalk police charged a 31-year-old woman with a 2012 shoe store burglary.

When Norwalk police detectives investigated the Nov. 28, 2012 burglary of Economy Shoe Repair at 6 Butler St., they took samples for later DNA testing at the State Forensic Laboratory in Meriden, according to an article in The Hour.
Those results finally came back, the Hour reported Tuesday, with the lab stating records for a woman in the state database matched the DNA found in the store: Heather Kydon, now 31, of 113 Newton Ave. in Woodbridge, who was picked up by Woodbridge police on a third-degree burglary charge.
In the burglary, the glass front door of the store was smashed in and various items inside were taken, including coins from the cash register, wallets, socks and a few pairs of leather boots. The owner discovered the burglary and called police at 12:36 p.m. that day, according to the newspaper.
