Apply For Bank Of America Student Leaders Paid Internships By Jan. 17
The program, for Norwalk students, is an 8-week paid internship at a nonprofit and all-expense paid leadership summit in Washington, D.C.

NORWALK, CT —Next summer may feel far away, but the deadline is fast approaching for southern Connecticut high school students to start thinking about their next internship.
The 2024 application for Bank of America’s Student Leaders paid internship program is now open through Jan. 17.
Applicants must live or attend school in Norwalk, New Haven, Bridgeport, or Stamford.

Selected rising high school juniors and seniors will participate in an eight-week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization to learn firsthand about the critical role nonprofits play in Southern Connecticut communities. They will also attend an all-expense paid leadership summit in Washington, D.C. to learn how government, business, and the nonprofit sector work together to address critical community needs.
Since 2004, Student Leaders® has been part of Bank of America's "ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility," it notes on its website.

"We’re helping prepare a diverse pipeline of community-minded young students to be successful in the workforce through leadership training and work experience," it notes.
Bank of America says through its Student Leaders program, "we annually connect more than 300 community-minded high school juniors and seniors from over 100 communities to employment, skills development and service."
"The students hail from many diverse backgrounds, but are united by their drive and commitment," a news release from Bank of America reads. "Through paid internships with local nonprofits and participation in a national leadership summit, they gain practical work and life experience."
