Armed Robbery Reported At Norwalk Smoke Shop, Police Seek Information

Police said a man entered the store, displayed a hand gun and stole cash from the smoke shop.

NORWALK, CT — Police are seeking information after an armed robbery was reported late Saturday night at a smoke shop in Norwalk, according to police.

In a news release posted to Facebook, police said the robbery was reported around 11:30 p.m. at Mohegan Smoke Shop on North Main Street.

According to police, officers arrived at the store and spoke with an employee who said a man entered the business, displayed a hand gun and stole cash, then left the store.

After officers searched the area for the suspect, the department's Detective Bureau responded to the store and assumed the investigation, police said.
