Fire At Norwalk Restaurant Closes Business For Weeks
The restaurant will be closed for two or three weeks, its website said. The fire also displaced residents in the area, News12 reported.
NORWALK, CT — A fire closed a restaurant in Liberty Square and displaced residents Sunday morning, according to reports.
The blaze damaged the kitchen at Los Molcajetes Mexican restaurant but no one was injured, the restaurant said in an Instagram post that was written in Spanish and translated via Google Translate.
The business will be closed for two or three weeks for repairs, the restaurant’s website said. The fire also displaced area residents, News12 reported.

Fort Point Street was closed from Washington Street to Seaview Avenue during the blaze, Norwalk police said shortly before 10:30 a.m. in a social media post, which included a video of smoke billowing behind the restaurant as firefighters climbed a ladder truck. The street had reopened by noon, according to police.
