Community Corner
Fall Fundraiser at Fodor Farm: Wine on the Farm. Food in the Barn.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, Norwalk's Fat Cat Pie and Fountainhead Wines will again donate all food, wine, and staff time to support Fodor Farm homestead and community gardens.
Join Fodor Farm along with the Norwalk Preservation Trust and Norwalk's Dept. of Recreation and Parks in celebrating an abundant growing season and the ongoing preservation and development of Fodor Farm and its community gardens.
The event will feature food prepared by Fat Cat Pie Co. and include ingredients grown in the gardens. They'll be joined this year for the first time by Jay McKinney of Durty Jerk Sauce.
New this year is the "wine trail" sponsored by Fountainhead Wines and Distillations. The more you stroll about, the more you'll discover. It should prove to be a great way to find some new selections for your own table while learning more about the farm.
