Free Car Washes Offered For Veterans, Active Duty Military In Norwalk
In honor of Veterans Day, a car wash chain in Norwalk is offering free car washes for all veterans and active duty military personnel.
NORWALK, CT — In honor of Veterans Day, Russell Speeder's Car Wash is offering free car washes at all of its Connecticut locations, including Norwalk, for all veterans and active duty military personnel on Nov. 11.
According to a news release provided by the car wash chain, this initiative is Russell Speeder's way of saying 'thank you' to the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
The free car washes will be offered during each location's operating hours on Nov. 11.

A valid military ID is required, according to Russell Speeder's.
The Norwalk car wash, located at 297 Main Avenue, is open Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"We're humbled to give back to those who have sacrificed for our country," Kevin Matthews, COO of parent company Summit Wash Holdings, said in a news release. "This is our way of saying 'thank you' and showing our appreciation for their courage, commitment and service."
