Fun Walk to Help Norwalk Quadriplegic

The "Fun Walk" at Rowayton Community Center will benefit Vince Yackery's recovery and the Northeast Spinal Cord Injury Fund.

On April 29th Vincent Yackery of Norwalk was involved in an accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury that has rendered him a quadriplegic. Despite the numerous financial, physical, and emotional obstacles, the Yackerys report that they are optimistic and encouraged by Vince’s daily progress.

A "Fun Walk" fundraiser to offset the uninsured costs of Vince’s ongoing care will take place on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at 10:00a.m. at Rowayton Community Center located at 33 Highland Ave. in Rowayton.

More details are available on the Help. Hope. Live. Fun Walk event website. HelpHOPELive is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides fundraising assistance to transplant and catastrophic injury patients.
