Norwalk Man Accused Of 'Inappropriate Sexual Conversations' With Minor Arrested: Police
A Norwalk man accused of having "inappropriate sexual conversations" with a minor was arrested this week, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of having "inappropriate sexual conversations" with a minor earlier this year was arrested this week, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the department received a report on May 7 of a 14-year-old "being engaged in inappropriate sexual conversations by a person known to the [teen]."
The person was identified as Keon Salmond, 32, of Norwalk, according to Evarts.

The department's Special Victims Unit investigated the claims and were able to establish probable cause to charge Salmond, Evarts said. He was arrested Wednesday on a warrant at his home in Norwalk.
Salmond was charged with harmful communication with a minor and risk of injury and impairing morals of a child.

His bond was set at $100,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Evarts.
