MTC School Presents Finding Nemo JR.! A Musical Great For The Whole Family!

Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts Presents Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR.
Norwalk, CT – Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC) School of Performing Arts dives into spring with a joyful student production of Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR., a vibrant undersea musical adventure for the whole family! This beloved story of family, friendship, and courage comes to life on the MTC stage for three performances only: May 16 at 7PM and 17 at 2PM & 7PM.
Finding Nemo JR. follows Marlin, an anxious and overprotective clownfish, who embarks on an epic journey across the ocean to rescue his curious son, Nemo. Along the way, Marlin encounters unforgettable characters like the optimistic Dory, surfer-dude sea turtle Crush, and the loyal Tank Gang, all while discovering the power of bravery, trust, and love. Adapted from the 2003 Disney/Pixar blockbuster, this musical features new arrangements of the film’s beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Frozen, Coco), and is perfect for audiences of all ages.
This colorful and energetic production stars MTC students: Teddy Bailey, Emmeline Cutler, Nori Levitt, Vivian Mashia, Neve Mass, Olivia Seemann, Ruby Sehr, Annika Simmelkjaer, Amelia Stein, Grace Weinbach, and Celia Young.
Finding Nemo JR. is directed by Deb Levy, with music direction and choreography by Elissa DeMaria. Set and lighting design is by RJ Romeo, costume design by Diane Vanderkroef, and the sea anemones are built and designed by Mike Seemann. The student production is supported by Eli Chang and Jojo Cipriano, with Diana Mashia serving as Parent Producer.
