New Bridge Over I-95 In Norwalk To Be Finished By Spring: Report
The Fairfield Avenue bridge in Norwalk was heavily damaged in May by a fiery crash on I-95.

NORWALK, CT — The replacement of the Fairfield Avenue bridge over I-95 in Norwalk will be completed by the spring, according to the state Department of Transportation, The Hour reported.
In May, the bridge was heavily damaged by a fiery crash on I-95, which required crews to tear it down. Traffic through the area was severely impacted for a few days, until the damaged bridge was demolished.
Construction on the new span, which will cost about $20 million to build, has been underway for weeks and is showing progress.
