Norwalk, Community Partners To Hold Immigrant Community Meeting
The city of Norwalk will host an Immigrant Community Meeting with several community partner organizations.

NORWALK, CT — The city of Norwalk will host an Immigrant Community Meeting at the Norwalk Concert Hall in City Hall, located at 125 East Avenue, on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
According to a news release provided by the city, the meeting will be led by Mayor Harry Rilling, Connecticut Attorney General William Tong, Superintendent Alexandra Estrella, Chief of Community Services Lamond Daniels and Norwalk Police Chief James Walsh.

Several community partner organizations supporting the event will also be present, including Building One Community, Norwalk ACTS and Catholic Charities of Fairfield County.
According to the city, the majority of the meeting will include a question and answer discussion during which the audience will be invited to ask panelists questions about how local and state government officials will be working together to continue to ensure Norwalk and Connecticut remain a welcoming place for immigrants.

The hybrid meeting can be viewed both at Norwalk City Hall and over Zoom, and will include Spanish and Haitian Creole interpreters who will translate the meeting in person and via Zoom.
