Norwalk Election Results 2022: Duff, Johnson, Roberts Declare Victory
Thousands of Norwalk residents have cast their votes in the 2022 state and federal election in a number of key races.

NORWALK, CT — A number of candidates have declared victory in several key federal, state and local state representative races across Norwalk, however official vote totals have not yet been released.
In the state senate race, a spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff confirmed to Patch he had declared victory Tuesday night and will continue to represent the 25ht District, which covers parts of Norwalk and Darien.
He also said Duff was "grateful to the voters of Norwalk and Darien for having the trust to return him for another two year term." Final vote numbers have not yet been released.

Duff was running for his ninth term against Republican candidate Daniel Miressi and Independent candidate Lisa Brinton.
In the race for the 143rd House District seat, Democrat Domonique Johnson declared victory over Republican Nicole Hampton in a Facebook post. The district covers parts of Norwalk and Westport. Final vote numbers have not yet been released.

"Thank you to the voters of Norwalk and Westport," Johnson said on Facebook. "It is my honor to serve you and I am so grateful for the trust and faith you have put in me."
The Norwalk Hour reports Democratic candidate Kadeem Roberts declared victory in the State Representative race for the 137th District seat. He ran against Republican candidate Luis Estrella for the seat, which had been occupied by Chris Perone since 2005. Final vote numbers have not yet been released. (Read more at The Norwalk Hour)
State Representative candidates Travis Simms (140th District), a Democrat, and Tracy Marra (141st District), a Republican, both ran unopposed.
Democratic candidate Douglas Stern also ran unopposed in the Judge of Probate race.
Eyes are on the gubernatorial race as incumbent Gov. Ned Lamont faces off against Republican nominee Bob Stefanowski and Independent Party candidate Rob Hotaling.

Voters will also get to decide on several state constitutional positions including treasurer, comptroller, attorney general and secretary of the state.
Connecticut also has a U.S. Senate seat up for grabs. Sen. Richard Blumenthal is seeking a third term, while Republican Leora Levy hopes to unseat him.

All the state’s congressional seats are up for election, as are all seats in the state General Assembly.
Voters also got to decide whether the state should allow early voting. The question on the ballot is: "Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?"
Norwalk residents went to the polls Tuesday to determine the following races. Results are unofficial, projected winners in bold:
